Timothy Farnham

Tim Farnham believes in the importance of interdisciplinary study to build a broad understanding of environmental issues and foster creative and practical solutions to real world problems. He holds an M.S. in Forest Ecology and Management from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies from Yale University. His scholarly interests focus on environmental values and how humans have perceived their place in the natural world throughout history. Most recently, he was Associate Professor and Director of the Undergraduate Program in Environmental Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
