Master of Arts in Teaching ranked nationally

ɬ’s hybrid Master of Arts in teaching degree programs were highlighted by U.S. News & World Report.

ɬ’s Master of Arts in Teaching degrees were nationally ranked by the 2021 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Online Programs,” released Jan. 26. 

The four hybrid master’s degree programs, including MATs in mathematics education, English language learners, independent schools, and teacher leadership climbed upward to be ranked at No. 118 out of 222 schools for “Best Online Master’s in Education Programs.” 

This is a significant jump from No. 147 in 2020, the first year the programs were ranked.

"We are pleased with our progress and continue to focus on delivering our students an outstanding experience,” said Tiffany Espinosa, executive director of professional and graduate education. “We realize the work we are doing here is more than just effectively delivering online learning. It is how our passionate faculty are using technology to support student engagement and build a sense of community that makes us stand out."

The graduate programs at ɬ use a range of teaching formats to support busy professionals, including accelerated courses, dynamic hybrid learning, online courses and limited residency.
